Polls mean nothing when the voting is underway. All they do is scaremonger and slew some people’s choice. What would be beneficial is a party that had a clear manifesto that could be implimented and not just empty words and slogans to lure voters in with no aim to do what they say. We will never live in a democratic society whilst the politicians never listen to the debates of their constituency. All the people want in this country is a health service that is fit for purpose, schools to teach the basics of right and wrong, roads that don’t damage their vehicles at every turn, a justice system that is in touch with reality, to have trust in those who lead (rather that self-serving, corrupt, immoral liars) and be safe to walk the streets we live in with a public transport system that is efficient and economical. Get those sorted and delivered and you have a winning party but until then none are fit to hold the crown.

The career politicians are so out of touch with normal life that they cannot understand what society is living through. Most have been entitled to a good education and success at university and then fall into well paid jobs and affluent neighbourhoods. Mixing with the Great Unwashed is unthinkable to them.

We have nearly two and a half thousand food banks in this country in 2024 compared to around four hundred in 2014. That is a disgrace. Inflation was running at around 11% a year or so ago yet food prices were increasing by a staggering 19.5% so someone was making a tidy profit as they knew folk have to eat and drink. Fuel prices to heat and power our homes were astronomically high with companies earning record profits but those profits never filtered down to their customers. Interest rates soared on loans but savings rates hardly moved making banks even richer and their humble customers worse off.

NHS waiting lists before Covid-19 were under two million but now are running at about seven million despite the government throwing an extra hundred billion at the organisation. Where has all that money gone? My guess is useless, unneeded management, woke diversity schemes and pointless team-building exercises which have benefitted no one but the smug senior leaders.

Brexit promised so much and folk were sucked in by false promises that have yet to come true and probably never will and rather than improving our lives is has had the reverse effect. Illegal immigration is up, taxes have risen, human rights have been eroded, travel to Europe has been hindered, trade has become over-complicated and expensive and we are becoming a laughing stock around the world. Companies are shying away from investing and opening factories here due to costs and an image of having a lazy labour pool. Even the stockmarket is failing in this country.

The working class are being taxed left, right and centre. Taxed on income, taxed on savings, taxed to park, taxed to drive into a city, taxed on purchases, taxed at death and on it goes. However, the rich companies and very high earners pay what they like (which is next to nothing) as they register their names in other countries and have rich, powerful accountants to help find the loopholes to avoid paying tax. Why aren’t these loopholes closed? Because the government leaders use them too so they will never hurt themselves.

More and more companies are being found out to be corrupt. P&O Ferries, The Post Office, The Bra Lady, Covid-19 contracts, The Grenful Tower, HS2, The Railway Companies to name but a few. The bosses have been accused of crimes but yet none have been arrested, have not had their profits and bonuses removed but their victims are still awaiting apologies and compensation. Lives and spaces have been ruined so the elite can lord it over the land without consequense.

The Government keeps pushing their green agenda and promoting the argument about Global Warming and too much CO2. What a load of rubbish and unnecessay costs to the tax-payer. We may be seeing climate change and this has always happened throughout history but the figures they mention only go back to the mid/late 1800s. Go back further and you will see simillar peaks and troughs before man-kind was even around so what caused Global Warming then? Nothing it was natural change. Without CO2 plants will die, food will cease to grow and life will end. Cutting back on our CO2 production and methane output to zero will have the effect of throwing a teacup of water into the Atlantic ocean so why are we being told to cut back? It is so the new heat-pump business, EV manufacturers, and green agenda quangos can make vast profits which our political leaders have links to.

So my conclusions are that any Political Party that wants to stand for morality, justice, equality, honesty and balance will be laughed out of even standing as it would go against the elite establishment that want total control over the masses so they can enjoy doing what they want.
